I am not selling anything other than my own expertise. I have found that many people from all walks of life just don’t understand pensions and think they don’t need to worry about it until ‘nearer the time’. I am educating people of all ages about the benefits of contributing more, and earlier, to their pension pots.
I retired from the financial services to focus on playing golf and tennis, touring in our campervan, going on occasional holidays and generally enjoying life.
My career in financial services included working for the UK’s financial regulator (The FCA) ensuring that organisations giving financial advice were doing so properly and fairly. I also worked for KPMG as a consultant to the financial industry and before retirement I was a compliance officer for two firms that were part of a pensions provider group.
I have a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning as well as an engineering degree.
